My passion for opening a food truck is about reclaiming the soul of fast food while sharing a piece of my rich Cuban heritage. I grew up loving the speed and comfort of a drive-thru, but I was always disappointed by the lifeless ingredients and robotic transactions. That’s why my truck, built from the ground up, will be a mobile kitchen where every dish is made with excellence, using fresh and local ingredients. I refuse to compromise on quality just because we’re on wheels. For me, the La Habana experience should be transformational, not transactional.

Great food is only half the equation. The other half is the human connection that so many chains have abandoned. I want my window to be a place where a busy parent gets a genuine “How's your day?" while their kids watch their meal being made. Where a stressed office worker steps away from the chaos to find food and relationships that break through the noise. I’m training my team to be more than cooks—they’re hosts, problem-solvers, and memory-makers. Customer service isn't a script; it’s a conversation. My goal is that every person walks away feeling not just full, but valued, because loyalty isn’t bought - it’s earned.

This truck is just the first mile of a bigger destination. My vision of the future is opening several locations, each with its own personality but sharing the same experiential consistency. The expansion won't be about franchising recklessly; it will be about mentoring new operators who share my values, hand-picking locations that feel like community hubs, and never letting volume dilute our standards. To me, it’s about recapturing and sharing the Cuban lifestyle where quality food and genuine connection create lasting memories and remind us of what truly matters.
